Man U. We don't think a lot of them. See the 'indignant outrage' section of every national newspaper for further details.
leeds fans were singing nasty songs about some men who died in 1958. How dare they. Ban them for life and shield all children's ears from this filth.
As some people have realised I just can't help but read FollowFollow (net's biggest Rangers forum), the most mental forum on the internet. I really just can't fathom how much hatred they have for us, especially since I don't really hate them that much. You check the first page and about 50% of the threads are about Celtic - and they can't seem to make reference to us without bringing ethnicity, religion or kiddy fiddling into the subject - and if anyone posts about Celtic without bringing some sordid or racial stereotype into the mix then they get accused of being a Celtic fan.
You love us really. We're like that older brother that bullies you mercilessly, but you love us anyway just because we're so brilliant
I hope you're also laughing at the 3,000 Mancs who were well up for it then. Also the thousands of others who sing about Leeds at most league games. And Ferguson who said it was your fiercest rivalry. But yeah, laugh away. You were better as Captain Fantastic.
laugh im a liverpool fan but irish and i heard of that site and was banned in 5 hours for saying the gers should sign some irish players as ireland were doing pretty well in their euro 2012 group. bunch of ****wits
1000s of fans out of the millions worldwide is a small percentage. And everyone knows Ferguson plays mind games, that was what he was doing. He will say the same about Liverpool before they play.
There is still a rivalry with Leeds even if it has somewhat less active than previously. You hate us and we seriously dont like you but just now neither of us is any real concern in footballing terms. The rivalry takes place off the pitch now. One day soon I am sure we will beat you twice a season year after year
He made those comments today, after the game. It was in no way a mind game. And the millions who support you aren't exactly fans or supporters, are they? They're bandwagon jumpers for the most part. That's the way most real Man U fans I've met feel at least. UIR - I certainly hope we return to the top division soon. I'd happily take two defeats off you a season if we got promoted! And you're right, a lot of the rivalry does take place off the pitch. But not that much more than your derbies against Liverpool and Man City. The difference is that Leeds is further away and there are less family ties so it's far, far more venomous. I think it's a good thing for football myself.
It's amazing how much of an outcry there's been. I know it's wrong, but Jesus Christ, it's no more offensive than the jokes that people repeat off Sickipedia to their friends and workmates every day. No-one makes these comments about the foreign fans who genuinely murder each other rather than just sing about it. Man up, media.
More often than not they big up foreign football fans for their passion..... murder is a crime of passion after all I suppose.
