How can Greece be the worst? They came second in their group and would have been top were it not for bent refereeing in the first game.

Have Ireland been that bad? been in a group with teams all at least 10 rankings ahead of them, could easily have drawn with Croatia, They had managed to keep Spain under control after the early slip, but then did another early slip and more or less gave up, and then were a match for Italy, compare it to Netherlands who came in as 3rd favourites and the most betted on team, then lost all their games with a whimper bar Denmark where they couldn't score.

 

Getting drawn in a group with Spain and Italy is a nightmare but Croatia are mediocre. Was hoping Croatia would get through as we normally stick 3 or 4 past them whereas you just know that Spain or Italy = bye bye England.

 

If you think Croatia are "Mediocre", Then i immediately know that you have no idea about football. They have just given the World and European champions the fright of their lives.

 

Is that apart from when you lost twice to Croatia and failed to qualify for Euro 2008?

 

Holland have been massively disappointing, but not the worst team.
