Martinez Wenger Rodgers Benitez But my preference is Dowie because the above choice ain't a patch on Dowie. And because Dowie brought us the saying "bouncebackability" genius
Here's my 4 for what it is worth: Moyes - knows the Premiership, and could recruit good players who do not cost a fortune. And as Saints do not have so many egos should be able to get the support of the dressing room. Plus we are a club where he could re-esablish his credibility. Koeman - simply because of the volume of support he has managed to acquire on this site. Giggs - Would be a bit "leftfield" but would be an astonishing appointment. Seedorf - My personal favourite. Highly articulate and intelligent. Has played at the highest level and I think would quickly win over the dressing room and fans. Having said all this I think the board will go for Moyes as he would ensure we are stable and remain in the Premiership after the outward and incoming transfers. But what do I know?? Outsiders: As above plus Mackay and Laudrup!!!
Now why on earth would we do that Rachel......Nice to see you posting, a bit more frequently perhaps? Repped as you requested.......
Ah! What an avuncular figure you strike, Beddy. Aren't our mods wonderful? Interesting how Moyes is gaining momentum - and so he should. A good Evertonian mate was incensed by Man Utd's treatment of the guy. He was a very good manager for a number of years - and then suddenly he's crap?! The thought of Moyes having a point to prove is one of the reasons I'd be pleased to see him at SMS. My 4: Moyes, RK (as the last time we had a Dutch manager it was a huge success); Maclaren; Benitez (he's not coming but I'd love to see it!)
