I think we will be ok to stay up in the Championship its really whether you guys can overhaul, Brighton and Bournemouth or fight it out in the play offs with the likes of Huddersfield and Charlton, both of whom on their day could win a one off match, with a big prize at stake, against you? !
I have said on another thread that Portsmouth have enough to stay up and alot of that is down to their passion. Even with all the off-field nonsense their heads have not dropped. The other big factor is that the bottom 4 are certs for fighting for the last survival spot and i can't see that changing. When Saints were relegated from the prem and the championship it was tight right to the last point but i can't see the bottom 4 in this years champ digging out even though Palace are not many points adrift. Good win against a Doncaster side who are very strong at home. Brighton have the title - it's not that they have star players but that they are a star team and are a very impressive unit. Saints are in second place IF we win our games in hand and Charlton slip up. Bournemouth will falter as the season closes with injury etc in my opinion and there is a small gap now appearing below Charlton. Saints will have to show a stubborn consistency to go up automatically and another gear to see off Huddersfield, Charlton and Bournemouth.

Just clicked the "last" icon by mistake and stumbled upon this article....It's quite funny reading some of the comments in light of what has happened since it was first posted. I 4-1......miss the banter that we used to enjoy on the old 606 with our chums from down the road.
I do miss the old banter, I think the 'Scummers going down' thread on the Pompey board may as well be the thread for a good laugh between old friends (rivals!).
Some old chums and a few sadly missed posters there.
