I was born in Northamptonshire during the late 1960s
My father was a nuclear physicist
Apparently I was too stupid to attend Oxford University, so I went to Exeter instead
Rolling Stone once ranked me the 66th greatest singer of all time

The son of Italian immigrants, I was born in the USA during WW1
I served in the US Navy for ten years, including a stint on board minesweepers during WW2
I won an Academy Award for Best Actor almost 60 years before my death, and received an Emmy Award nomination when I was 92
    I was married five times

Born during the 1880s, I was a proud Prussian and son of a wealthy industrialist
I joined the Imperial German Navy at 17 and went on to become a celebrated U-boat commander
Despite my Nazi membership, I opposed Hitler on countless occasions
I was executed at a concentration camp before the end of WW2

Kirk Douglas is a four-by-two, not an eye-tye. And he's not dead yet.

@Ponderings I would obviously never tell you how to do your research, but I always thought that Canaris was born in 1887 and not the 1890s? I could be wrong though.

Is that a King James ponders? Looks a bit papey from here. Still, so long as it's not a hideous yank translation. Never get past St Peter with one of those in your man bag.
