Yeah it is bullshit. Messi is **** because he has never won a World Cup. Danny Simpson is the greatest because he took ****ty Leicester to a league title.
As for Kante being the best DM to grace the PL. Most of you ****s are Propa Fan boys and tend to go for flava of the month. He's been **** for a season n a bit, for a start.
... it's more about what your attributes contribute to ... there is undoubtedly far more pressure to deliver when your efforts are key to actually winning something .. in Vardy's case it wasn't about scoring 2 or 3 when your club is comfortably sitting in mid-table ... it's about taking those crucial chances when the pressure is on .. I remember his 2 goals away at Sunderland when the league title was coming into touching distance ... the season before when we had to win at West Brom to have a chance to survive - collected the ball in the 90th minute on the half-way line ... turned the defender ran the length of the half and tucked it away ...
'Flayva of the month' ... he's been instrumental in two different teams winning the title ...that's seasons rather than month ... ... how's about you tell us which Spurs players should be in the team ... that shouldn't take long at all ..
Only I didn't actually say Vardy should make the team ... but Vardy did break van Nistelrooy's all time record for scoring in consecutive games, now you mention it ... and in a single season ... whereas Ruud did it bridged over 2 ... Your post more indicative of no brain rather than no brainer
None of that Leicester side get anywhere near an all time XI, it's as simple as that. Especially not Vardy for goodness sake. The entire XI would consist of mostly United/Arsenal and maybe one Chelsea and maybe one Liverpool player, not Gerrard.
Agreed ... and as I've reiterated ... I commented as you requested but didn't suggest that either Vardy or Mahrez would make the all time XI ... personally I think Kante would... if (and that bit is key) you wanted that type of player in the XI ... .. and my point on Vardy was to illustrate that you would need to factor in how the game would be played - the rule changes etc ... I maintain ... if played today with all 3 players at their peak, Bruce and Pallister would have great difficulty shackling Vardy AND remaining on the pitch
We haven't had a great team..but I'm not a deluded dumb ****. This thread is for those revelling in past glories such as United and Arsenal fans Spurs are the here and now. I'm happy to accept that.
I'd have Gerrard as my DM...play him there...great engine, great eye for a pass and goal and a player who proved it season in n season out oh but's let's have Kante because he runs around a lot like he's chasing a fly
Vardy has one trophy so I very much doubt that makes a difference. Kevin Phillips is the only Englishman to ever win the European golden boot. He was a better player and finisher, than Vardy.
No but you indicated that he would be in consideration, when he wouldn't be close and the only people considering him would be Leicester fans. He is not even in the best PL team now let alone ever. Don't see why doing it in a single season makes it more of an achievement? Doesn't really make a difference, and if anything I'd say doing it over 2 seasons is harder.
... here and now ... here alright but NOW? ... still won fcuk all ... except for you winning the most ironic post of the year on the subject of delusion
... strange that because Vardy has a much better EPL scoring ratio ... out of interest how many times have you watched Vardy live? ... given your assertion ...
