I'm not arguing that we did't use our wages to help maintain our position. But specifically with regard to CL participation, we earned that place and sustained it because Wenger built a team of gems on a skinflint budget.

You mean he went nicking young players from Europe and then paid them a fortune.... I’m not knocking Wenger though, he changed the league in this country with his brand of football. Arsenal with Henry et al in their pomp were a side that I’d never miss watching, they were different class. But let’s not kid ourselves that it had **** all to do with money how that was both achieved and then maintained.

all clubs spend more and more money because it's an auction basically , so no club is to blame it really a case of clubs doing what they have to. I'm tired f fans thinking there;s something different or special about their own clubs .. It's a business it's dog eat dog just like life … MONEY
