I agree he'll be cheap, but I don't see how this can be a good signing. His injury record is questionable and he hadn't scored in his last 20 appearances in the Championship. He done well last season, but that was in league one. Regardless of the financial situation. I'm hoping for a bit better than this.
Lot of births to fill mate. Doubt we'll be spreading our budget evenly on center forwards. I think will be a few cheapo's and a one big outlay on a 5 -10m striker.
You are right, mate. I just fell into the trap didn't I. Yeah, as long as he's viewed as our 3rd or 4th choice striker, then this is what we will have to push on with. We need an experienced striker that will get us at least 20 goals in this league. I know very little of Hugill but I've got a feeling he could be our 'star' striker.
I hope he's not going to be our main striker anyway. Don't know much about Hugill but his stats don't look great. Don't mind if he doesn't get many goals so long he's getting assists too but he doesn't get those either. Would hope he's nothing more than another cheap filler if we got him and be hopefully pleasantly surprised.
