Schick seems like a Denis Praet option. We'd like him, but preferably without any competition from other clubs, at a 50% or more discount. What will happen is we'll low-ball, as always, and lose out. It's one of those situations where the club needs to - and I mean needs to - change tack. We now have a facility with Barclays, the club needs to use everything and pool resource quickly. Offload Saivet for £200k, Muto for £3m, flog Murphy for £4-5m. Cut out every inch of salary-wasting **** and do it ****ing yesterday. Then spend around £30m on a decent striker. It's THAT important.

Anyone turning their nose up at Gonzalo Higuain is mental - hes called GOnzALo he literally has goals in his name. 640 games 306 Goals for his clubs and 31 goals in 75 for Argentina. My only concern is over the last 3 years he hasn't hit 10 goals (still scoring more than all our strikers combined though)
