There is a group of Arsenal "fans" in Driffield area who go to their games. Though the organiser is original from London I believe. Difficult for City to filter any of them out with their postcode.

We are attracting some of those types now. Turn up when we play. The big clubs, applauding the other teams' players, taking photos of them. Can't find £20 for a home quarter final game but can afford travel costs to go to London twice and pay vastly more for tickets twice. If we ever do extend the stadium will have even more of them.

Agreed I've got a mate who runs Liverpool trips, he was born and brought up until he was 11 in Liverpool lots of family still there. Even he used to say cant uderstand how born and bred Hullites are going to watch Liverpool.

I believe that the person appointed under AP as fans liaison officer, who didn't do much of a job in my opinion, and then emplpyed by the club and then Rovers, used to run trips years back to Old Trafford.

Are you a parent or relative of someone with cerebral palsy or other disability? You have no idea of the stab in the heart when language like "spastic" is used so casually, you utter whopper.

You made an account just for that? Your use of the word "whopper" offends me as I have family members that work at Burger King. Burgerist.

Don't be a prat. The use of the word spastic is more offensive than some of the words some get upset about on here. For one thing it is a condition no no one would wish any kid of theirs to have and to use it in a derogatory way is offensive. It is also inaccurate as someone who is disabled is not a spastic. I know someone who will have been in the disabled section following numerous operations. Years ago he was getting banned from grounds and would have ripped the head off someone coming out with stuff like that. It was a ridiculous thing to say.

I have disabled family members myself so get off your high horse. It's a daft word used in a casual context, there's no malice in it. People use the phrase mong which refers to Down syndrome on this forum. It's the internet Castro, people say stupid stuff.

Finny how some things upset people on here and yet things which are equally offensive in many ways don't get flagged up. People say the same things in real life. I fell out with someone years ago who went on to become quite well known because he announced he was going to have a laugh at the spazzies when he saw a group of kids in wheelchairs on a day out at Brid.

The language used is totally inappropriate and nothing short of offensive.

Some people should hand their heads in shame.

That's quite different, that's real life. People who choose to go onto an internet forum should expect certain things. I would fall out with someone if they were making fun of people in wheelchairs in real life. On the internet I just ignore it and you should too as there is no point in getting worked up over it.

According to someone in the know, the Arsehole fans who attended the game where the genuine article as they were only sold to season ticket holders and those who had attended a certain number of away games...If that is the case were did all the plastics come from?...I reckon a lot of Arse tickets changed hands. There were even some Arse fans sat outside a McD who didn't speak a word of English.

I will wait with interest to see what the mods do with any posts referring to Muslims or blacks etc in less than reverential terms. No one will get worked up about it presumably as it is only an internet forum.

Same here, I moved from 236 to 219 and was surrounded by them. Generally okay but had words with a South Africian who constantly squeaked in my ear: lots off bairns though and they were just fine.

I was in 219 too....row 15....with my son....what row were you in Fez.? I did chat with BotswanaTiger in row 5 at half time. Very nice chap...think he said he's an engineer out there. We were surrounded by Arsenal fans who were very subdued after 10 minutes but became loud and obnoxious in 2H when they equalized. Sat next to a neutral...Aston Villa supporter and his wife....who came hoping we'd win .

Also anybody notice the amount of Arsenal fans wandering Wembley way asking to buy tickets off our fans? Desperate times calls for desperate measures it seems.

Its not desperation its the fact that Arsenal are a much bigger club than Hull with many many more fans yet we only get an allocation of 25k. Great game yesterday ! :)

Did you have anything to do with the 4 letters painted on the roof of the green huts on 21st ave?

Also, considering Arsenal are located just down the road from wembley, it's not exactly a massive thing for them to pop down there to find out. It's not as if they'd all driven down from the north of Scotland or anything...

If roles were reversed and wembley was on our doorstep you'd fully expect people to wander down to see if they can pick up a stray ticket.

Yes true.
