Did you read that in Dinosaur Times?, old news big boy!, you've been deposed by Real Madrid, and going forward with Bale's projected commercial value and CR7's new contract commitment, I don't see United claiming it back anytime soon. :)

You're in for a few more short sharp shocks imo, that for two decades you've taken for granted, better start double checking in future mate. :D

Wonder how much it costs to watch Real?......and how much do they charge to get out?!!!!!!

Real and Barcelona are also handed money from the broke Spanish government,so I've read. Why.....if they are so wealthy?

I wonder if it was the same one I saw not so long ago, bio type thing. Nat King Cole was a little early for me, and he's not exactly my style, but whatever show it was made me realize how talented and strong a character he was to do what he did when he did it.

he was a bit early for me as well, but my mum was a fan of his music, and my partner has some of his albums, she is a jazz fan lots of Thelonius Monk,Charlie Parker,Miles Davis etc,and Nat fits in that sort of sound and era

The Forbes list value takes into account goodwill - which in football will be the fanbase, commercial appeal to sponsors, TV rights etc. So they are saying that Real Madrid would cost a few million dollars more than Utd now if you wanted to buy the club. The increase is probably explained by the cartel they and Barca seem to have re domestic TV revenue. But the reality is that Real Madrid are never cash rich because they are always spending it on new players and their salaries!

Goodwill is the lifeblood of any football club! Without a fan base to watch them play, buy their merchandise, etc, they wouldn't last a month. Yes, you can include fixed assets such as if they own the stadium they play in, stuff like that, but goodwill is almost everything!

Both Real & Utd are among a handful of clubs that have global appeal. So long as they maintain that, they should always prosper.

Big day for those in the sack race, as Jol and Pardew pick up wins before the international break. Another loss for Holloway.

Sunderland 1-0 up so it's Moyes next for the chop.

  13. Okay, so United managed to get themselves out of jail with that win, but I don't see much respite for Moyes. That was a dire United performance against undoubtedly the worst team in the EPL.

United's legions of plastics will be relieved more than delighted with that win.
