This is why I always love to see London clubs demoted, they breed like rats. It's like Scottish football, they should get rid of half the clubs and share out the fans, so that they all have a respectable level.

Yeah didn't Spurs win the Nokia cup in the 80s? Think you had to beat some of Swedens elite during the summer. Great achievement for Spurs... We are all proud of you representing England there and winning.

i agree... arsenal are an iconic club going way way back to the start of football and history before the war etc... however me must see that chelsea have unde rbates before virtual bankrupcy and then under ambramoich led a revolution in english football by bringing in top players and winning things.

IF you look purely at what biggest means i think right now chelsea have had a huge impact on modern football (could be agrued its very negative influence given style things were won with and unrealistic and almost unfair cash spending) I think chelsea are london's biggest club today.... 5 years ago i'd have said arsenal for sure.

    chelsea:
    4 league cups
    7 fa cups
    4 league titles
    2 cup winners cups
    1 european cup

    arsenal:
    13 league titles
    10 fa cups
    2 league cups

1 fairs cup (precursor to uefa cup)
    1 cup winners cup

all in all i think we have to say chelsea have a lot of catching up to do but from this point onwards theres only one way i see this going and its cheslea surpassing arsenal.. both have won doubles (though arsneal have more) and importantly only one as the BIG CUP.

Arsenal are miles bigger than Chelsea. And Chelsea are miles bigger than Spurs.

Its a bit like asking who's bigger out of Liverpool, Everton and Tranmere.

The amount of love you guys have given us on this thread is noted and appreciated <ok>

When spurs finally get their juggernaut started, then it may be worth mentioning them as a big club.
