Errr, we've got 5 European Cups, more than anyone else from Britain, I think we could easily lay claim to being the biggest team in England, and it's all down to your opnion whether we are or not. Rangers have more league titles than Celtic, but if you ask me Celtic are the biggest team in Scotland because of their European cup win, it overshadows anything Rangers have done in the league.

I really hope that you Liverpool fans on here are in the minority and not all Liverpool fans genuinely believe the likes of Fowler, Babbel and Hyppia were better players than Torres. Laughable point.

If there is one player that a set of fans overrate the most, it is Robbie Fowler by Liverpool - horrible bloke (his reaction to Le Saux that time should have seen him banned for a while) average player and inferior to several other English strikers at the time. Shearer, A.Cole, Ian Wright, Sheringham, Le tissier for example were all better players. Torres is a cut above Fowler

 

Pretty sure Torres goal/game ratio stands up with the best Liverpool strikers ever and it is certainly better than Fowlers.

 

Of course they don't mean it. Some of them have just recently ripped down their Torres posters. Funny that in January, if Torres didn't want to leave I am guessing none of them would have had Carroll & £15m instead of Torres. But of course now he has left he is finished and past it regardless of the fact he was on course to become the clubs most prolific striker of all time.

I also liked your comparison with O'Shea and Gerrard. Because in effect he claimed Finnan had a more successful career at Liverpool because he helped win the Champions League. Well O'Shea has helped United win the Premier League AND the Champions League. Therefore he has had a more successful career than Gerrard. Or do you want to go back on that claim Rauul?

Goals win games and strikers are judged on the goals they scored. Torres was better than Fowler, finnan and hyppia on both accounts. A far better and classier all round player too
