    He said after the City game when he scored against us some thing like (after the reporter said it must have been good scoring seeing as he is a mackem): 'I am a Newcastle fan, they gave me my first opportunity in football... blah blah' Not perfect, but it was along those lines.

    That's twice this woman's made assumptions of which teams a player has an association based purely on where they come from.
    She did it with Barton after the Liverpool win, she assumed because he's from Huyton he would have grown up a Liverpudlian, 'Geographically', when in fact he's an Evertonian. Great seeing Joey point that out.

    People do this all the time I guess, but as an interviewer you'd do some research before you ask such questions?
