    Spot on Surrey!

I refuse to give in until it's....

    ....mathmatically impossible!

(and sorry for mentioning the 'MI' phrase so early in the season!)

We've got two hopes and one of them is Bob!!

If the team can be motivated by the new manager then maybe the great escape starts soon. It would be too much of an ask to turn things round and beat Sunderland this week so maybe we need to look at Villa and Wigan as the start. I do want to beat Sunderland by the way, just don't think the change will happen that soon.

Or, if TF has outlined his plans to Harry regarding building something more permanent (youth set up, new training ground, new stadium etc) then we already write off this season and plan on what to do when we are in the Championship. It would be better to scrape survival than risk the drop and maybe fail to come back the next season. I hope Harry's contract includes the chance that we might not survive this season and that he is signed up to stay and not have any opt out clause that could see him swan off in May.

Games run out very quickly and we could soon be in the position of needing to win every game to stand a chance of staying up let alone 1.5 points a game.

Question is does Harry really think he has what it takes to get us out of the mire with these players (or bringing in a few more) or does he expect ud to go down, much the same as Ollie did when we went into League One, and say "what did you lot really expect?!" then work out how best to get us back up?

Poor old Mark Hughes must still be wondering where it all went wrong and I can't say he's the only one. I'm still stunned that we are where we are.

Somewhat optimistically i have been saying that we will be mid table by April.....still possible. All sides go through bad spells...all it will take is say for villa, sunderland, stoke, wigan etc to lose 3,4,or 5 on the spin and all of a sudden they are in trouble....whereas if (big IF) we could put a run of 3,4 or 5 wins together then the table will look completely different. It is still very do-able, imo i think realistically we will sneak somewhere between 14th & 17th.
