I'm intrigued by this player The Pogba. If he's half the player that Pogba is, then we should go in for him!
I said you could go, as in, that 30 million is just like half . But at least from your comment, we all agree that Shneid is not in the same category of a Pogba, now I don't know about you, if we do spend 30 million, I wouldnt want that money being spent on a player who isn't even guaranteed a start, and isn't in the world class bracket.
Like I said earlier. We don't need to spend that much on a DM. I personally would have paid £25M for MS. Or £20M plus Jenkinson (as they just lost their RB. Not sure if they bought a replacement already). I felt he was THE perfect fit that could hit the ground running. He was huge for Southampton so I understand them demanding that much. But there are options out there. Krychowiak is the one I really hope we get now that MS is gone. He'll be a typical Wenger signing. Not really known but technically gifted, young (25) and athletic.
I'm not really bothered about Schneiderlin. He's a good industrious player but nothing more. Looks like Arteta is out injured again so a DM might be back on the shopping list. If we were to sign a DM.. Now that Kondogbia has gone to Inter and Carvalho has broken his leg I would go.. 1. Martinez. Bayern look to be signing Vidal and Xavi Alonso seems a nailed in starter so Martinez's chances may be limited at Bayern. Top player with both physicality and technical skill. 2. Lars Bender. Still a fan of this guy. He's a leader, technically sound and aggressive. 3. Grzegorz Krychowiak. Simular to Schneiderlin in style. Still only 25 - been one of the best DM's in Spain for the past few Seasons.
I like your list a lot. Grzegorz for me would be the easiest to get. Why we haven't gone for him is beyond me.
No wonder the papers reckon Wilshere wants to see what his role will be next year. If you buy again here, I don't see where he will play. Ramsay to a lesser degree also.
Jack will be fine. I imagine Arteta, Flamini and Rosicky will all be gone by then and I've a niggling feeling that Cazorla won't be with us long term. He's clearly someone Wenger rates and we know he is extremely loyal.
