    I'll say the USA

    Pretty much all of their victories have come due to overwhelming numbers, allies or technology

    When they don't have that they lose or draw (such as Britain in 1812 or Germany in 1942/43)

    The Romans were the dog's bollocks to be fair. Who'd have thought that mixing them with the seemingly tough Moors would produce the Italians, who are absolute bobbins when it comes to a good old-fashioned tear-up.

    The *****ls were very underrated too. At one point, their empire spread from Germany to China.

    think that was ww1 and their spat with Austria.

    Think it was Abyssinia where they invaded with state of the art kit and 100,000 tallies surrendered to a handful of tribesmen armed with muskets and bad breath.
