Do you hate paying the most?

I've just had a warning from the TV ****s.

Last time he rang the intercom, i told him to **** off

So guess i'll have to pay it sometime,

Mortage/rent can't really complain about.... But have to pay them all, but which is your most despised?

After TV, mine is car tax.

You're lucky there, it's becoming a rip off.

I know that council tax, gas, electric is bound to be the highest, but water is just becoming extortionate imo. I wonder what the hell they are doing differently to make it so expensive.

Oh yeh and mobile phone bills <laugh>

He rang the intercom at nearly 9pm.

Let's just say it didn't go well.

His final words were 'ok i will send a letter', and my final words were '**** off you ****.

    +1 for water bills.

Down here we've got coastline on 3 sides so loads of beach clean up and making sure raw sewage doesn't spew out into the sea.

Also most counties share infrastructure with their neighbours, i.e. treatment works, pumping stations, sewage works, pipe maintenance etc, but Cornwall pretty much goes it alone, other than the land border with Devon.

I don't know what has changed to suddenly make looking after a reservoir, filtration and adding chemicals, then transporting it so different that its pricing has jumped so massively?

If it's about dealing with burst pipes, well I'm sure that happened before. The only other thing is the cost of electricity/gas they use so basically we're paying utilities twice then.

Should public services be run on a 'not for profit' basis, with any surplus being reinvested into improving services ?

One for the anti-Corbyn crew to consider ......
