What do you mean Ed? The pen pictures on the website say Parkin is only 13 stone 4 pds. 
Must be some sort of diet where you lose weight inside but still look like you have it outside.
Mind you some of the other pen pictures contain dubious information - Conway is over 6 ft tall? He must bend his knees a lot then.
As to a poor defeat - I don't think the results of these games really matter. It is a development squad and an opportunity to give people game time - which the senior non-Championship players don't get as we have no reserve team - Carling Cup games excepted. Turner played a full game, did well according to reports, so for that alone it was a worthwhile exercise.

Fair point on Wildig. I hear he has been injured but thought he was getting back to fitness. I pointed out a couple of weeks ago that he wasn't shown in the squad and had no number. H Bomb put me right on that but for some reason City are not showing our younger players/sqaud numbers in the match day programmes or in the website pen pics - at least they didn't yesterday. H will put me right if that has changed today.
Missing are Wildig, Evans, Farrah, Meades, Jarvis, Santiago and Ralls and the other lad who was on the bench at Oxford. I can accept the last 2 as they are first year trainees but I would expect the others to be shown.
I think they should be shown as an incentive to being part of the overall "team". However, maybe Malky is playing mind games - if they're not good enough to be with the first team squad then don't include them in the full list. Perhaps the incentive is for them to show they are good enough and deserve to be there.
