SPOT ON ^^^^^^^ this. RH also cut off an interview with James Chester. Blame Matt Dean the RH sports editor from hell. He is utterly hopeless and clueless. BRING BACK David Burns for heavens sakes.

But whilst Matt Dean remains then expect more of the same.

we have won A GAME.... and it was against SLUMBERLAND, one of the ****test teams in the BPL!
now if we had scraped a draw against Chelsea I could understand the reason for getting moist.
But we haven't. And I can't see that happening any time soon.
So let's just see if we can put a run of results together shall we? Before most of you fickle ****s spurt over your keyboards.

    There lies your problem.
For some reason you think a team in it's second BPL season should be thrashing Sunderland and drawing against Chelsea.
You need to get your expectations out of the clouds and come back down to reality.

The truth is we are in the same mini-league as Sunderland and they deserve to be above us on merit.
Leicester are also in the same league and tomorrow's game is huge for them so don't be surprised if we get a bad result, and more importantly stop bigging us up in your own mind to the extent that anything less than a 5-0 win is a disaster.

what's wrong with wanting us to win MOST, if not ALL of our games?
    where's your ambition lad?
the relegation dogfight is exciting, I admit, but for once, I don't want to bite my nails down to the cuticles TYVM!

There's nothing wrong with wanting us to win all of our games, but that's very different to expecting us to win them and then demanding the manager's head when we don't.
We had no right to expect a win at Sunderland and you demeaned a good performance (by the team and manager) by suggesting in your previous post that we should have.

Actually, Steve Bruce himself said we should be taking 6 points from our last two fixtures.

This thread is stupid. One win does not suddenly erase the poor league form and results in the entirety of 2014. It was inevitable that the fence sitters would be out in force when we did finally and inevitably get that elusive win with a 'told you so'. One instance of an event does not necessarily indicate a trend. It's plausible that we could lose against Leicester and then we find ourselves back in a tricky position.

So the fence sitters have every right to spout their opinion and almost gloat after one win but the slightly more cynical people get called every name under the sun for having a valid opinion and point about a terrible 2014 in terms of league results, performances and form. If we put it in context to teams around us like Palace and Leicester, one manager has been sacked and one is on the brink with very similar league standings and performances to ourselves. I never wanted Bruce to leave but there is no reason at all that he is exempt from being sacked or at the very least been questioned.

I am happy that Bruce finally got that win and the pressure can be lifted somewhat. Hopefully this can be the turning point of our season the springboard that we need to push on and improve. I say well done to Bruce and hopefully we can pick up some more wins.

Some people aren't fickle but equally they aren't meek and mild either with their opinion.

Did for me in 1981, she were great, down in one. Never saw her again, but it set a standard that I've used as a benchmark ever since.

I get the impression that certain members of this forum look for things to justify their arguments .. man up ffs and give the manager and team credit for battling out a win against the odds, fkng pathetic sometimes.

We might have had a bit of luck at Sunderland but we have had **** luck in games in the last two months, deflected goal, goals allowed with players offside, dreadful sending offs (not all of them Tom). We deserved some luck.

We certainly did deserve some, and we were favoured with so much yesterday that Lady Luck must've cleared her debt to us in one fell swoop.
