A reported £8M which would be a good fee. Is Tan starting to get his money out? Not sure changing to Blue then selling your star man is a wise move. Saying that, from what I saw of Moore in the cup we have an able deputy and possibly one that commands his area better than Marshal. Hard to judge on one game I know.

Rodgers has said that Mignolet is good with his hands but not with his feet. Not sure he's seen much of Marshal if he thinks he's any better.

Everton was the talk in the Ninian Stand Taff, If over £5mill I'd sell him and he deserves to be in the Prem.
 
Im not convinced he will go there.

I think hed improve every PL team apart from Chelsea and Man U.

Simon Moore did as well as he could have been asked. He came for one cross 2nd half that Marshall would have been flatfooted. Made a save from McCormack free kick simple by anticipating the first move.

Marshall is a top shot stopper but woeful when the ball is crossed in.

If he goes, best of luck to him, and thanks for all the saves he's made even though he was largely responsible for us losing to Blackpool (Still cannot get over McCormack sat on the bench that day when Bothroyd went off:angry:.).
 
Another angle on this one. Talking to someone (not from the club, but having business contacts within the club), he told me that Marshie was set up to go to Everton last week until they discovered he has a long standing hernia problem. This is operable but the recovery time is not certain and could well be outside the transfer window.

Having lost Howard for a while through injury they do not want to risk paying a sizeable fee for Marshie (who can play through the injury) only for the injury to get worse and lose him as well. Makes sense.
