I've also been wondering where Dave is, Welly. I hope he's all right. Very unlike him to not post or make predictions this long.
Indeed, and the 'moderator' tag has been removed from his pic too, despite our obvious rivalry I like the guy, gave me a bit of leeway when I overstepped the mark back in the day, someone that I could have a laugh with, I hope that he's ok too.
From a bit of profile-stalking, he's still active on the Watford board, and giving the Norwich board a wide berth for a while apparently. Agree its a shame, but it's his decision.
If he's chosen to step down as a mod, that appears to have been done through PMs rather than posting on the mod board, unless I've missed something. So can't offer any insight there.

It's more than that though, the 'Forum Moderator' banner is no longer under his name like it is under DH's, check it out somethings happened but as I alluded to above, there's a few of you Budgies that I get on with, talk to via pm's on occasion, dave is one of them, one of the good guys.

Had 'Doomcaster' remained in charge, I'm fairly certain that NCFC would most likely be history.
Thanks mostly to DM for appointing PL after our humiliation at the hands of Colchester, we had back to back promotions and ended up in the top flight.
DM then recruits AN when we were at a low ebb under NA and who will ever forget May 25th 2015???
Admittedly we're really up against it now and not only struggling to score goals, but conceding FAR too many - most of which are as a result of poor defending, rather than the skill of the opposition forwards and I certainly feel that is not wholly AN's fault, but more down to the players.
Who knows, Rusty's suspension could turn out to be 'a blessing in disguise' - only time will tell.

I do worry about this board, something that KIO mentioned recently. Some stalwarts have left recently or reduced their input and the site is the worst for it. The political thread has done us no favours but also things happen in our lives and all of a sudden football or posting on here becomes secondary to real life issues. It is a shame but that is the truth. Come back Dave, RBF and some others, it is a less colourful board without the rainbow of input.

Must admit I hadn't realised he'd not been around lately, though I did think it a little odd that he didn't join in the prediction leagues this week. However I will say that if he is "taking a break" from our page I would bet my house on it that it's nothing to do with the content on the political tread so I find it somewhat disingenuous (and perhaps a bit cheeky) for anyone to try to blame it on that, especially as it was a thread created by KIO himself where Dave had this supplied "hissy fit". Now that is ironic, no?
So is DH our sole mod now?

I'm going to keep it quite simple really. I miss Dave on here and I'd like him to come back!
I´m not quite sure just how much to write here, but I happen to know a little about the reason for Dave´s disappearance and a lot of the speculation above is well off target. That´s all I´m prepared to say at the moment, anything else must come from Dave himself, if and when he returns, suffice to say that he didn´t relinquish his moderator tag willingly.
Dave had a hissy fit at me a few times for having a negative opinion. We have since added to our losing run by 3 more loses. I like a lot of his moderating, from what I've seen, but he seemed to take offence to my opinions. Yes they have been negative reasontly....but if i said "we are amazing!!! Every player shoots when they gave a chance! Our defence is Rick solid! Noone will get through that!" He'd like it,but it's not my opinion.
Thanks for the update RBF and I'm sure I'm not alone in hoping that he does return to our board one day!!!!
