    Have to admit I laughed when they made him a U.S. citizen via his marriage to some Country woman and promptly played for the American national team at a time when they thought anything coming out from Britain in soccer was Godsend <laugh> (and I suppose they still do, them Yanks, with all these British films and actors winning the Oscars and whatnot and of course Beckham who will probably end up being their national team manager sometime in the future) <doh>
