Milan is in the north west of Italy. Santon is from the north east of Italy, nowhere near Milan. You thick get.
maybe you can hit the heights again one day, you did finish 7th twice ha ha. off to work now to pay my taxes so you can pick up your giros on tuesday.
Cestria - I agree, that Europa League can kill off a smaller club's league ambitions. The whole competition needs revamped to be more lucrative for participants and to involve far less teams, it's ridiculous how many teams like Fulham and Stoke have their seasons ruined by the Thursday night games, not to mention the fact that the fans have to then watch their teams playing on Sundays instead of Saturdays, with work the next day you can't even go and get hammered to celebrate any wins. On another note though, Wigan deserve massive credit for their recent performances. I don't think any team would like a trip to the DW stadium any time soon, because they're beating all of us. You might have stuck 4/5 past them there a few months ago but they're a different animal now. Pardew should have set his team up like he did against Swansea, to contain and counter, but he didn't, his naivety showed big time as his dreams of 4th slipped away with a Spurs/Chelsea double. Second Doctor - Doh! since you went and googled where Santon was from and Wikipedia'd him, you should have probably noticed that he played for Inter (Milan), therefore qualifying him to declare what he has or has not seen in Milan. I do reckon he was tricked into that question though, poor kid didn't know what a Mackem was, surely.
I remember watching us play in the 80's - was only a bairn, but we were losing 5 nil in a game and no-one had gone home - we were all singing "We're gonna win 6-5" up until the final whistle!! Unfortunately days like those are gone and a lot of people don't stick around at the end of home and away games if the team isn't winning! Sad reality
No mate, it's on again next year, then every two years after that i think, for some reason there is two in two years...
Sorry Terry, I know where Santon's from because it's the local area I live in. Various locals know him or at least his family, and I helped an Italian lad with cheap flights etc. from here as he went to the derby game as Santon's guest. No use of Wiki or Google. I'm also well aware he played for Inter - it's all the local Inter fans who worship him!
