I'm not sure if I could pick a favourite. For the stadium itself, it has to be Arsenal, it's got better seats than any other stadium (including Wembley) and it was the place we enjoyed one of our best ever away games, but the place itself generally lacks atmosphere. Since stadia have gone all seater, I've enjoyed visiting the old school grounds more, so places like Peterborough and Brentford are among the ones I've most enjoyed recently.
Yeah i agree, Arsenal is definitely the best but it's not my favourite. Ive sat in the corporate and away sections there and they're both great. I really like The Reebok, it still seems really futuristic even now, like a giant spaceship and I also like the unusual ones, like Deepdale. Its got a real unique look about it. Love the 2 Sheffield grounds too. Sorry, back to holidays...
Yikes, unlucky, Lee Majors. I'm all flesh n bones at moment squire. Hope that continues for a long time. Airports are scary enough already! I've managed to procure some Tramadol from a mate for the flights. So that coupled with several pints means I'll probably land in Spain before the plane! Edit: **** sake. Burnt my jambalaya posting that!
! ! M n. N n. N I was at the market on Saltspring one summer Saturday in 2012 and yes, there were hippies and it was neat. We had my step-sister and her husband with us from the UK. We bought fresh bread, local cheese and such then went to the Salt Spring Vineyard bought a couple bottles and had a great picnic lunch. There was a very relaxed atmosphere about the place.
That's good to hear. Love Vancouver Island - 'specially the North & West coast - Tofino,Ucluelet and district etc. So peaceful, yet spectacular changes in the weather.
Christ's sake You need decent sun tan lotion on holiday, particularly if you're going naked...if you don't oil up then burning your jambalaya is always a risk ...hang on, I may have misunderstood? Anyway I'd like to offer some hopefully helpful advice for nervous flyers 1. Drink a lot, but not too much ( this isn't different from any other day, so just double your usual intake) 2. Just sleep on the plane. You can't do anything to help fly the bloody thing so just let go of control and relax (point number 1 will help with this) 3. Join the mile high club. This will take your mind off it, and if you're properly shaking with fear then she may have the best flight / night of her life Don't thank me...I get joy from knowing I've helped
I was thinking this is one actually ripe for a remake. It could be great without the slightly camp element and cheesy Arnie one-liners. It's probably more apt now than ever before too as we cant be far off actually having a game show like this!
