Not at all. Nobody has been very impressive. Everytime any of them build up some momentum they tumble away again so I think United would have taken advantage under SAF of the bumbling sides and waltzed the league again. Exactly like last season. Of the 3 at the top, Liverpool are the ones in the best form right now while City and Chelsea should be making short work of it.
Liverpool are playing exceptional football at the moment, you might want to pay a bit more attention.
We have been for the best part since January 2013 That was put down to we weren't plaaying for anything, it wont be kept up Now people are just simply denighing that we're regardless of how much we've scored etc so your post is refreshing
Which is what I said. Though I see why you thought otherwise. Kind of contradicted myself looking at it.
Thought it was a typo and you were saying Liverpool AND the others are getting by. The lack of a comma threw me!!
Very hard to tell. SAF staying would almost certainly have meant Rooney leaving, but probably also Garay and Gaitan coming in. Overall that would probably have boosted us more than Mata and Fellaini arriving, and with SAF's ability to motivate the players and get the best out of them I reckon we'd be around 12-15 points better off, mainly from all the games lost at home, and possibly still in the FA Cup. Doubt we'd win the league this year, but I think we'd definitely be up around top 3-4 come the end of the season. Probably around the same level as Chelsea, with Liverpool and City finishing three or four points ahead of us.
I dont think SAF would have sold rooney in the end. However he wouldnt of made it all about Rooney and RvP would be much happier and some of those defeats would have been victories because Fergie wouldnt have allowed such poor performances to go unchallenged.
I think you would have been higher but not sure about top. Maybe it could have been a four way race? Fergie wouldn't have spent nearly £70m on Felliani and Mata, he'd have bought players that fit the system and not compromise players already at the club. He wouldn't have sacked his back room staff either so RvP may not have had so many injuries. The players would have shown respect to him too.
