Well Chelsea sacked AVB and won two trophies so if we sack him then we might win the league. Seriously I've been saying since Arry left that we needed a top coach to keep us at the top. Do we have one??? Is he a top coach??? He was a big name in Portugal by winning the double in his first year. One season wonder??? He wasn't given enough time at Chelsea to prove himself imo. Is he a Spurs man??? I cannot remember a situation like this at Spurs in all the time I've followed them. Do we give him a full season provided we are not at the bottom at Christmas? If we are 5th or 6th is that satisfactory half way through the season and keep him on? Do we go one further than Chelsea and see if he does better in the second season with a club?. All this is unprecedented. What would satisfy you all to keep him on? I'm going to wait for a few more matches before saying where I think we will finish.

So, who are the five in front of us then? The two Mancs? - probably. Your bought and paid for bunch of mercenaries - quite possibly. Arsenal? - not sure about that one. So, who else? Newcastle?
