You could've beaten them in 08/09, they were never all that and hadn't peaked then. But I agree 10/11 they were too good for anyone. Fergie got the tactics wrong in 08/09 and for 5-10 minutes you were the better team but Ronaldo wanted to do it by himself so you never had a chance.
Mistake I had forgotten they beat you at the DW and the Win was on neutral venue I was reading a list.
Actually a good shout. I think managing a national team is something every top manager wants to take a swing at, at least once in their career.
If you read the threads straight after your win you will find i defended your tactics to the end by saying you were there to win a final and did so, nobody can belittle that achievment. I just take umbrage when people take the piss out of a team for losing against the accepted best team in Europe.
Disservice to Juventus and Shaktar. Juve are a class side and (IMO) would have gone all the way had they drawn any other team but Bayern. Shaktar also an excellent side. Whenever you have a whipping boy in your group it means there is no margin for error.
