And Rooney to leave Utd ? I think Spurs have done well to get Paulinho and Soldado, although they got rinsed for them, we look like we will too for Suarez. Everton without Fellani and Moyes could struggle and Liverpool will be screwed without Suarez, so for me I can see the spuds finishing fifth again.
Spurs have done well with a couple of signings but without Bale i still feel they will need to add more players to improve. If Fellaini does go, with Moyes already gone i can see Everton falling awaya little. And if we get Suarez i can't see Liverpool getting past us or spurs. If these moves happen i think it willcement our top 4 status and with a couple more additions we are looking much closer in quality to the teams fighting for the title than the teams fighting for 4th.
There is a wonderful rumour going round that Bale was never going to leave Spurs this year. Real Madrid are, so the theory goes, conspiring with us as part of our commercial agreement to raise the profile of Bale and they get first refusal next year, and hide the fact that they cannot afford him this year from their fans. Meanwhile Spurs and Bale have a sky high recognition in our target markets (North America in particular). Sadly it's all BS, but it is a lovely thought.
AVB has admitted that Bale may have played his last game for Spurs http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/sport/football/premierleague/article3844158.ece
No he looks like a Monkey But he is an Arsenal fan: From his old team mate and room mate Theo Walcott From his old school mate and Wales rugby captain Sam Warburton
The only thing it's got to do with the transfer window is that he'll soon be an Arsenal supporting Real Madrid player
We'll have to disown him if he does, playing for Spurs is bad enough, but playing for Franco's beloved Real is unforgivable
I once got a post deleted on BBC 606 for mentioning the links between Franco & Madrid. The reason given to me was that the post was defamatory. The funny thing was there was a programme on BBC a couple of weeks previously about politics & football. One of the things mentioned in the programme was Real Madrid's links with Franco's fascist dictatorship.
Real Madrid I think him leaving will actually make Spuds a better team as they have and still are looking to bring top players in.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23795802 Real and Spurs in advanced talks to transfer Bale to Madrid, but of course it won't happen as we know because Mystic Smeg has decreed it a non starter :
