Me an arl! But although I consider where I live a nice area, I couldn't imagine one of the modern day footballers being one of my neighbours..

Me neither mate but then again, I wouldn't want it.

No crime at all where I live.

Let them have their big hooses.

Now don't get serious, just for fun.....

After reading the Fletcher won't come thread, a lot seemed to be a bit defensive on the merits and beauty of life in Sunderland and surrounding area's........

We all have the added advantage of knowing the area, where-as players arriving probably don't......

So if you were blessed with the skill and managed to play for the club, where would you live?

Would you take into consideration of commuting time, nightlife, resturants and location....

So where would be your place to relax after a hard day's kicking a ball about?

..................................................................................

For me, it would be a house on the Roker or Seaburn sea front...Or maybe one of them nice big houses in Cleadon or Whitburn...

That's it I really cannot understand why they all want to live at Darras Hall - we live not far away and one of our doctors surgeries is in Darrass - dark and dismal place I think!!

Some of thier wives need stuff like that babe.

North east's stupid cheap compared to down here, a one bed flat near Kings Cross, not a particularly great area costs about 400-500 grand.

After living in Nottingham and then Ruislip Gardens or 24 years I'm back in my home town near my family, SoL, beach great bars and restaurants
When we moved into our house just over 3 years ago I said I would only leave it in a wooden box and nothing since has changed my mind
