Hi Leicester fan in peace. Not being funny, but if you were due a takeover by Billionaires from the Middle East you wouldn't be buying Lee Peltier - who was at fault for many goals we conceded last season.
Ahhh. Grasshopper. Ramadan stretch out before us like shining road to horizon's Eid. (Which is after the start of the season.) Due diligence like chasing lotus flower in hurricaine. LUFC have patience like the stone Buddha. LUFC avoid having no player for start of season like over ripe peach tree. Which loosely translates as "What the hell were they suppposed to do? Wait until Christmas when the takeover's gone through and there's money available, or actually have some players in for the start of the season" Patience. Meissi arrives in the January window.
I am undecided about this 'takeover' but what makes me think it will happen is due to the following factors: 1. We have not heard a peep from Capt. Birdseye (who is worse than Publicity Pete for liking the sound of his own voice. 2. Warnock has actually been signing players (& again Bates hasnt been shouting from the rooftops how generous HE is. 3. Warnock has referred to the potential "new owners" & takeover. (He is no Peter Lorimer, i.e. he isnt Bates puppet). Couldnt see him lying to the fans when he genuinely seems to have taken to us, as he know that would have signed his own death warrant (popularity wise). It is worrying that it has taken so long to conclude & the lack of information is beginning to create suspicion amonst the fans.
I would like to thank Ken Bates for making me personally richer this past 12 months, because until he officially 'does one' & disappears out of Yorkshire then I will not give him another penny of my hard earned money. Away games only for me & my mates until that happens.
