Hear hear Houston, some of the finest contributors have disappeared. Of the great bunch I met at Wembley last year, many are now absent. I am more a reader than contributor - by the time I read stuff, there's never really much to add. That said, I will be looking forward to catching up "offline" at the C&S in December with current and past not606ers. There is more good than pointless activity on this board, keep it that way please.

QPR - when they're good, they're very very good; when they're bad, we still follow....
 
I drop in about once a month just to see if the landscape has changed - don't post (life is too short to open that door again) but what has been said above is true. The SOLE reason that I, and I strongly suspect many others, do not post here any more is the behaviour of Swords, and the fact that so many times he has overstepped the line for permanent bans and it never happens. I'm sure that were he to receive the punishment his baiting, personal attacks and abuse deserve, there would be a lot of people returning to the board. I certainly would - I miss the banter and the discussions, but the price I was having to pay simply wasn't worth it.

999s has already posted a similar themed post. YES...there are quite a number of people who have stopped posting due to "banter" from Swords.
Swords has built up a considerable portfolio of warnings, short term, long term and semi-permanent bans over the years

Now Swords is no longer able to post on this board

I do hope that makes other people more able to come back and post

I'm sure there are others, but these are more or less the ones that I can recall off of the top of my head. Apologies to those that I may of missed out.

In case you haven't realised the above posters have more or less left our forum because of the constant wumming and baiting from the recently banned posters and a couple that have been banned prior to that. But by the main, due to Swords.

So what we have is a few of our members shedding their crocodile tears, over an internet wum, who hides behind an avatar who possibly isn't even a real QPR fan. As far as I'm aware he's never been to a game. Not since I've been on here anyway. Yet all of the above missing posters are real people, excellent posters and Rangers through and through.

It reminds me a bit of those newspaper headlines you see all too frequently. A young urban lad gets shot or stabbed and unfortunately dies. All his family and friends claim how he was a good lad, went to church and was a proper mummy's boy whilst glossing over the fact that social media is awash of pictures of him and his crew posing with knives and guns which would appear to be to the contrary.

It's a bit of a kick in the teeth to the posters that are still on here that are continuously targeted by Swords. Day after day and week after week we see threads get hi-jacked just so that Swords can continue with his own personal agenda. Yet still his cronies fawn over him.

I just don't get it.

It was starting to get like 'Lord of the Flies' on here.

I'm sure that if your really missing him that much you'll find him elsewhere on the internet to entertain you. Folk of Swords ilk will always find another platform, they simply cant contain themselves.

Not seen this until now. Fantastic post Nines <applause> You mods have a thankless task.

I can't be bothered with this Swords nonsense, but had some time on my hand so trawled through this thread. For me I have never taken him seriously and have just ignored him not giving it any more thought. Thinking about it now after reading your post regarding all the posters who have left I find it very sad that he have been alloved to keep on antagonising and separating this (once) great board. Just seen Beth's post, if he's gone for good hopefully we'll get some or all the above posters back, in the process making this the best QPR forum on the net.

It has been a real shame to lose posters and more importantly the fantastic people I've met in person like StainesR, Roller and NUTS. West London Willy and Flyer are others I really enjoyed having on our board and have been sad to see leave.

If in time the damages can be healed, with the exclusion of the master baiter Swords, we could get these other posters back.

Only right move imo, you mods have my full backing.

Arguing on the internet is pointless even when you win the argument you are still a ****. Problem here is people paid him the attention he craved and lived off. If you had ignored him it would have stopped. All it did was encourage him.
