Mexico was beautiful ... very hot 30+ everyday ... wonderful hotel .... fantastic food .... we were celebrating my hubby's birthday So glad to hear you are ok .... was really worried about you as no one seemed to have heard from you for ages Big game for your lot today ... fingers crossed xx
Glad you had a good time in Mexico. That's one hell of way to take him out for a Mexican on his birthday - very stylish of you. Yes, sorry for not being in touch. I'm afraid I was feeling a bit sorry for myself for a while there. Ah well. Back to the Championship for us next season. I'm not too despondent as I didn't expect us to be there in the first place. And we've had a challenge or two this season one way and another. Sorry your guys aren't going to make it up - it would have been a great reunion for us.
I'm happy not to be in the playoff to be honest .... our team certainly would not cope with the Championship .... we can be good but can also be totally dire .... no consistency at all ... would be totally shown up in the Championship
In some ways I think the Championship is easier than League 1. In the season before this, we were expecting to be fighting a relegation battle, but we got promoted. It's the craziest of the leagues, and I quite like it.
Not sure if I've already told you this, but the first game I took my daughter to see was against Posh. Must have been '86 or 87 and I think we won 4-3. Bless her, she thought all games would be like that. Also been some great games in more recent times. Can't forget the 4-4 when we were 4 up.
I was at that one ... a lot of Posh fans went home at half time I got so excited when the third goal went in I jumped up punching the air (or unfortunately the gentleman in front of me on the back of the head) He said if we scored a 4th I could hit him again
And did you? I wonder if that bloke has gone through life with being hit by the lovely Minxy as his claim to fame.
That made me laugh He probably tells a good story about some mad woman punching him in the head at a footie match
Minxy the inadvertent hooligan! I'm sure there's an opportunity for a poem, a book or a musical along those lines. But if it's going to be a film, who's going to play you?
A fine choice and probably one of the finest actresses around. A very attractive lady too. But can she carry off your panache and style? Hey ho, if that's best we can get.
I still have my doubts. It will take an Oscar winning performance to emulate your charm, style, humour and charisma.
Ah! And so modest.. My comments are not intended to massage an ego nor are they false flattery (was he in Riverdance?). They are simply a statement of truths which are obvious to all. However, be careful of that Masky on the Cardiff board. His massaging intentions are far from honourable. Hope you're well.
That made me chuckle Clingo .... have known Masky for a while & we haven't always been best best of friends I am very well at the moment & enjoying life .... I do hope you are keeping well too xx
Has that Masky been behaving like a cad? I'll have the boys take him to task. Glad to hear you sounding so positive about life, music to my ears. I too am enjoying a time of good health and also enjoying life. x
