Hi all. I have just returned from the Dominican Republic and also had issues logging in whilst there.
It stated that Not606 needed to check the security of the internet connection and verify that I was not a robot. This may be similar to the problem that Elf’s is having.
If it’s of any use the page I kept getting was from Cloudflare(?) but like I say it eventually connected after a couple of days.

Any updates Lardy ? Elf’s is convinced it’s down to 606 as all the other ****e he logs into is up and running including “hamster porn”

We think it is to do with the cloud based servers that Not606 operates on. Cloudflare.
Doesn't seem to be much we can do right now.
But once Elfs is back in the UK (which will be soon) and back logged on here, perhaps the tech chaps can help him...

Apparently not. Cloudflare is blocking anything he tries to do.
It seems that server is rejecting anything coming from that part of the World.
In theory a VPN should help, as it masks your location.
I don't know why that is not working for Elfs.
Perhaps he has to clear cookies & caches, which can be technical & tricky for the layman.
He says he has tried both PC and mobile.
And a separate mobile belonging to a relative. No luck on any device.
Tell him it is literally the only answer. If Cloudflare are blocking access from Brazil he must hide his location.
Unless Not606 also blocks anyone using a VPN ? Do we know that ?
I tried to log in just one time while I had a VPN active.
Could not get in.
But that was nigh on a year ago, and it was the 'old' Not606 before the upgrade. So it might not mean much.
Ah, but it might mean a lot. Could you ask the super mods or tech guys about VPN’s ? If Not606 blocks them then the little fella is screwed.

But to be honest, if you search for Cloudflare problems in any part of the World, something comes up.
I'm stuck for how we can help Elfs to get back online here when he is in Brazil.
But we won't give up on him.

Just checked and it appears that Cloudflare has large blocks of VPN IP addresses blocked so it may prevent access to many VPN addresses, but not all.
If he has tried using a VPN from a well known provider and been blocked, then he could try using a smaller, less well known VPN provider. Unfortunately then you run the risk of potential fraud if the provider isn’t legit, but it might be worth trying if someone can get this suggestion to the dear chap ?
And just to confirm……….if it is Cloudflare blocking him then actually it is Not606 as the Not606 site owners effectively ‘employ’ Cloudflare and contract with Cloudflare to block whatever traffic they deem right to do so. Unfortunately the decision may have been taken that as 99% of traffic from say, Brazil, is bots or fraud attempts then it’s not worth the risk of filtering out the 1% that isn’t and as VPN’s are the traditional way around this (which of course the bot masters are aware of) they also block many VPN’s.
