I am talking about someone who consistently upsets our apple cart with false promises followed by excuses that drive us all crazy. Sitting in some unknown back hall at Ashton Gate is an entity that seems hell bent on spoiling the party to which we all get an invitation during the summer break, which is intended to improve the squad over last year's line-up. All of the unfulfilled hype followed by a season of discontent is not what I signed up for and to continually do the same thing and get the same result is called stupidity, but as yet nobody in the hallowed halls has ever got that message. Obviously the memo didn't hit the desk of anyone valuable otherwise we would be table toppers by now but perhaps the memo really said that it's the same old apathy coupled with excuses will be the order for the next 10 years. Is it any wonder why we just are not capable of assembling a team that can at least compete in the Championship despite all of the buzz words used in news releases. Bristol City will generally come second or third when it comes to decision time for players on the move to improve their careers as we constantly look negative in our outlook, based on recent history. The usual suspects that take the bait have been hanging around the same pond for too long making them uninterested and uninteresting. Someone needs to wake up from a ten year hibernation because the rules of success have changed during your absence and unless you finally come out of your fog and smell the roses you could be in all kinds of trouble.
