As you well know, 'Arry doesn't do the transfers and it's clear that Levy was trying to sell him but only for what he sees as the right price.

I agree with you about Rose but as fans we don't know the full story so there may be good reasons for some of the decisions we don't understand.

I think a few are overeacting here - the last 10 mins Everton didn't get out their box, disallowed goal, you hit the post, you could easily have got a draw or even nicked the win, Everton were not the better team IMO.
Put in many more performances like the one at Arsenal and yes you have every right to complain, perform like you did tonight and you should be OK, you're still in the driving seat...

We ended the game like that when several of our starting XI were restored to their correct positions though, Grizzly.
Bale went out to the left, Modric went back into the middle alongside Parker and then Livermore and we looked threatening.

Why start with a system that nullifies your two best players?
    It's insane.

    Grizzly #25,
We here at Spurs are now accustom to beating the likes of Everton comprehensively. Therefor by our own standards, todays game is an utter disapointment, However thanks for your sentiments and concern.

    5th.

Harry seems to be half hearted at the moment and the England job is clearly affecting him.

When I saw Bale was on the right and Modric on the left, I had got a bad feeling. Why the hell does Harry do this?? Modric on the left worked when Lennon was on the right terrorising on the wing. Plus, often Hudd was in the middle alongside Palacios, spraying passes all over the place.

I'd rather see Townsend play on the right, Bale the left and Parker and Modric in the middle. Give the kids a chance rather than being so imbalanced, or too narrrow.

I also miss the Corluka, Lennon partnership down the right, and feel that with Brad in goal, it'd be a more sold set up.

I'm also getting a little bit tired of Walker's and Bale's little tantrums of frustration when things do go their way.

    Third.

This poor run won't last forever and as others have said after Chelsea we have a favourable run in.

For me Feb and March was always about damage limitation and low and behold we will still be a min top 4 end of March.

Exactly. None of this seems to make any sense to anybody but Harry. Surely, even he has got to see that it justnain't working. The whole thing has been thrown completely out of balance.

I hope not! He's completely lost the plot if he does. Modric is good enough to dictate play against almost anybody.

I really think this Harry for England manager thing is not helping. It has to be a major distraction for the players, and the fact that Harry won't make his position 100% clear is obviously not helping.

We have reaped what we have sown.
Negative holding midfield, suffocates all creativity .
    Players out of position.
Abe looks crap recently, cant pass, score,or hold the ball effectively.
Reinforcer's the view that Defoe doesn't have enough about himself to be a true class striker, impact only.
King slow and on last legs against quality sides,
We all now the best team to put out 4,5,1 why doesnt Harry?
Blimey its not that hard, Please can the swagger and style return before we balls it up.

  18. Harry will go from hero to zero at Spurs, if he takes the England job at the expense of us finishing behind Arsenal. I think a lot of fans will find it very, very difficult to remember the good things about him, when we are being subjected to a never-ending wum-fest from Gooner juveniles.

But, as I said before, I still think we're good for 3rd, albeit that it'll be closer than any of us would have wished.

Football is a simple game and Harry subscribes to that, picks the players and bouys them up and sends them out.

    Great!

As soon as he starts to get clever he blows it. As PNP has said playing your best players out of position just smacks of people like Benitez it's not clever to be clever. Just go back to what you do best Harry and realise what a **** up you could make of the England job and your career if you start believing all the media hype.

The whole England situation has knocked the stuffing out of the squad. Like it or not, since Capello resigned, we have been awful. The togetherness and resolve of the team has all but disappeared. Who can blame them? Harry seemed to be the lynch pin of everything good with our club and I suspect had a lot to do with Modric staying and Bale being happy to do so. We had a clear path in front of us, qualifying for the CL and making a much better fist of it this time, while maintaining league form. The way things stand now, we don't know who will be managing us and who will be in the new man's plans going forward.

Harry too, seems to be caught up in this. When we are short of a first choice in one position surely it's best to shore up that position as best we can and leave the rest of the team with players in their favoured position rather than playing musical chairs with our key players? A refusal to make a change, typically before 60 minutes, even when things are patently wrong, leaves us too often with too much to do also.

I am, or have been, completely positive about Spurs this year and have shouted down those who were not. Right now that is difficult to do. I just hope they get their heads right for the run in, which while easy on paper (so is Arsenals mostly) needs somebody to press the reset button and get us playing again. Right now I am not sure that will happen. If it doesn't, 5th is not beyond the realms of possibility.
