We were class mate against a great side. Fletcher should have scored twice for me but **** happens every game. I was ower the moon to still be in with a chance till the 3rd went in. Our support was magnificent again as well.

I am convinced we would of got top two if maja had stayed.
I think we might have snuck 2nd last season or actually won the play offs if covid hadn't fooked everything.

I think we will win it this season 100%

I'm not overawed at Parky and sometimes worry about his plan B or lack of but then again I admire he has stuck to his guns and forged on,
Our defence was improved and I think he will get the attack right this season.

So on that basis I think we will be too good for other teams, win the league and those calling Parky dour and clueless will be eating their words.

The big thing over the last 2 seasons is when we have played well we have won. We have gone on long winning runs.

We’ve pasted a few sides. If we are consistent we will win it.

I think, and expect, that we'll finish as champions :emoticon-0148-yes:

Parky now has the 'feel' for S.A.F.C., he understands the club and us fans better than he did, I can see ambition (to suit his style) in the recruitment, and I think that if he gets this right (and I think that he will) he'll also have a 'plan b' :emoticon-0105-wink:

It looks like we have a better defence than the decent one last season, there'll be better competition/options in both midfield and attack than last season, and we'll also be more united :emoticon-0148-yes:

That's pretty much all we've done since coming down. Very few of our wins have been superb performances playing the other team off the park. We need more convincing wins if we want automatic promotion imo

The team put out yesterday should have won that game easily by half time, but the longer it went on the more Hull began to get a grip especially in midfield. As the game slipped away from us yesterday Parky only used two late subs replacing like with like This is becoming too familiar a pattern and something needs to change quickly apart from our luck.

Layers of uncertainty this season. No predictation -- beyond a top half finish.

The league looks tougher. Less parity than last year but more competition for the top 6 spots.
The defence looks improved but will we be soft on set pieces?
The attack looks worse -- will Grigg carry it on his shoulders?
Thought we might have a "Diamond" of a season" but he can't make the bench.
Will Marcus Maddison sign for any club in league one?

Tell you better in mid April.

Get shot of Flanagan, hes useless at set pieces in particular for such a tall lad.
Diamond and Neil should have been on that pitch yesterday , huge opportunity lost imo to see what they can do, I can see these lads and others at the club ending up like Ethan Robson with the Durasic Parky in charge.
We learned nothing from yesterday, that was not already common knowledge.
We can do without Maddison imo.

Screenshot_20200906-225414_bet365.jpg The lads are 8/11 to finish in the top 6 with bet 365...stealing money in my opinion...

The whole screenshot didnt come up properly..

Both observations haunt us in the very first game. Terrible keeping for the penalty. And we don't have a striker suited to Parkinson's style of football (if you can call it a style)

Why play grigg if you've got absolutely zero creativity in midfield to supply him? He didn't have a single through pass to him yesterday, not even an attempted one.

We were the better side there's no doubt. But if our weaknesses can haunt us against them, we've got no chance of putting together any kind of real consistency to mount a serious challenge.

Either Parkinson will have to be replaced or backed. I know which one I'd choose.
