Hello. For now, I can view this forum at work, so gives me an excuse not to work. Which is good. Clearly.

I sit block 32 Kingsland. It's great veiwing from there and good people around me too. However i get the feeling that most of us wan't to sing with the northam but don't want to be the first ones to do so in case no one else joins in !

As much as we have altercations, it is good to see some of the so-called 'lynch-pins' of the old 606 moving onto here.

The Beddytare's, CBK's and RAWMOK's is what makes 606 what it is.

We need to get SaintsAlive and RedAndWhiteManOfKent over here to continue their competitions for next season, I am sure they will be able to lay-out their work better as well on here than on the BBC.

    Hi All,

First time on here- gave up posting on 606 some time ago, though still kept my eye on what people were saying. Living a very long way from St Marys it can be difficult to get to games, but I am pleased to say I will be there tomorrow.

To answer the question; I usually aim for Block 42 of Northam, but this time I am taking my old man so thought I'd go for somewhere a bit quieter! I'll be in Block 37 (corner of Northam and Kingsland)- never been there before but am told it's good. Can't wait.....!

Not hard to guess where I sit! Block 4 to be precise. View is pretty good, but it can be difficult to see down the other end. When I sat in the Chapel, most of the goals got scored at the Northam end and now its the other way round, that's a bit annoying! Its also good to bring a cap as the sun can make it hard to see otherwise. Atmosphere is pretty good, but it could be improved by opening up block 3.

Kingsland front right of centre line, good crowd, nice sense of humour, the linos's all know we are there, but sadly the accoustics in that region of the ground are appallling, deadens any attempt to sing or chant and there is no chance of understanding a word said on the tannoy, I guess it is a freak in the design of the Stadium. It is only when the whole cowd is giving it large that we can add our rackett to the roar and get any benefit.

Incidentally I noticed that same deadening effect when in the Itchen/Chapel corner for the JPT, people were hollering but it wasn't coming across very well. You can get the Northam/ Kingsland corner effect very well from most parts of the ground.

PORK PORK!!! MEHHHHH! IRRITATES ME TOO!

    Block 41 JJ NORTHAM!

Wouldnt want to sit anywhere else to be honest.

Chapel will always be chapel and fair play some people just want to come watch the game and are just as equal fans to everyone else.

Very impressed with the turnaround of Kingsland corner vocal backing now. Often louder than Northam and start most songs - Fair play!

Itchen north has started to become quieter and qieter and ive sat there before and used to be a good laugh with the away fans, but thats dying out and the stewards up there are....... :D

Itchen end near away fans have been quite loud recently which is good to see - but the rest is a tad quiet!

I must agree there's a certain few who make it their mission in life to ruin people's Saturday afternoons.

    Although it is the minority.

Taking my two little ones I use the Chapel. Once they're ready I will be moving in a northerly direction to find some noise. Twelve year old has been in Northam with me and was buzzing by the time the game was over and for a good while after. Helped that we won of course.

Yeh i have noticed that itchen north has been far louder of late.... mainly due to some bigger gates and games.

A few seasons ago i used to si there back in the Championship and it was amazing! Maybe because of the segregation people have now moved seats

And regarding the stewards...... i dont really get it tbh. I know its health and safety but they get about 15 rows up Northam and then have to start again.... this happening week in week out for 90 minutes. JUST GIVE UP ALREADY haha!

I had to move seats when they decided to shut some of the corner next to the away fans but stayed in the nearby area. Get some brilliant comments from the stands and some decent signing, obviously not as vocal as the Northam but we try!

The thing with the whole standing is, I fully accept it's a health and safety requirement BUT if no one is actively complaining they can't see etc why constantly get people to sit down when the away fans aren't even asked once. Anyway Friday afternoon rant about stadium stewards over!
