Born Brockenhurst. Then moved to Burley. On leaving school Eastleigh and Alton with Hampshire Constabulary. Transferred to Isle of Man in 1968. Always supported Saints. Dad had a season ticket at The Dell. I would go into the boys enclosure.

Born in Kent grew up in East Sussex, lived in Shirley (Thornebury avenue) and worked in West End back to Sussex then to various parts France where I still am.

The most suprising thing is the small percentage of posters that actually are actually resident in the city currently...even Meowth is more local than most of you!
This seems true and same with me.
Man of Kent, born south of the river medway and lived most of my life in Canterbury.

Not the most exciting city in the world but an energetic student city, minutes from beautiful villages (pubs) and a few miles from the coast.

Canterbury famous for the destination of the Pilgrims Way where pilgrims from Winchester made the journey to the shrine of Thomas Becket.

I do the pilgrimage almost in reverse, from Canterbury to what is the shrine of St Mary's stadium to worship those legends in red and white. (Admittedly not quite the same as the original pilgrims walked following natural contours of the landscape, where as I drive, following man made motorway constructions)

Born in Donegal in the North West of Ireland. Lived there till I was 8. Moved to Dublin for University and then work for 10 years. Have been living in Manchester the last two years. Moving back to Dublin in August

Funnily enough I was actually in Dorchester last week, had a drink in the junction I think it was, awful food mind.

Next time you're in town I'd go to Goldies :emoticon-0152-heart for Beer and Atmos <cheers>
Blue Raddle :emoticon-0148-yes: for Beer :emoticon-0167-beer: and Home-cooked Food
The Convivial Rabbit micro-pub if you're a cider or Ale geek :emoticon-0126-nerd:

The Junction is ... disappointing :emoticon-0145-shake

Again I think this raises the question, why Saints?

Masochism???

Must be!When I was getting into football Le Tissier was in a run of scoring unbelievable goals and it got me into supporting Saints! Mum used to buy me other teams things to get me into them as she thought what seemed like certain relegation every year would break my heart!Thankfully didn't cave in!My home team Finn Harps generally cause me even more pain but that's what it's all about. Makes the good times that bit sweeter!
