Hi Uber. Of course he is and I would spend it on my family too if I was that loaded. Just making the point that you spend on what you care about and, sadly, he really did not care about QPR very much at all.

I think at best he was extremely naive. At worst a cry baby who revels in the spotlight. Either way he's had to endure the fall-out from his actions. I think Terry's a moron but for God's sake protect yourself from the Chavs and idiots of this world by using some bloody common sense!

Up until now, the problems started with our new signings.
None of them have produced, not one single one of them.

    Probablty

    1) NW signing Barton.
    2) MH not getting rid of Barton in January when the extent of his poison had become clear, and using the window to replace him. It's too late now.
    3) MH not getting in an immediately available quality replacement in January for Ale.

The answers simple,we haven't had 1 top notch defender at the club all season. No clean sheet in 16 games tells it's own story,if you can't stop conceding it doesn't matter how good your other players are, your doomed!

Good list and many good points

But despite everything that went on (or not) before and indeed after, we would have been well out of the relegation zone but for just two things.

1 Bartons sending off against Norwich . Without that we would have won and the momentum would have carried us on to win against Villa for sure. Winning becomes a habit - just like losing

    2. Cisses sending off. Again we gave 3 points away. Had he played against Blackburn we would have won that too. Had he been available for the next 2 matches I think 6 points would have been assured.

Two highly paid professionals whose two moments of selfish madness have most likely condemend us to relegation.

Fans calling for so called PL experienced players instead of creaming the championship and foreign competitions for young and hungry players.

Young ------ started good, but good for one goal in the last four matches played
Barton ------- dissapointed, much more expected certainly as a captain
Ferdinand ------ who stands off attackers more then once
SWP ----- where to start ?

    other factors of notice .....

Kenny injury, everyone sees he can't dive for ball at the moment
    Faurlin injury
Bothroyd and Campbell feeling sick and injured all the time

Hope the team and MH can put things right in the next few weeks, they owe us big time

    Where it all went wrong
SWP (incorrectly) disallowed goal against WBA. Two nil up....we would have won the match...then plenty of confidence.....no desperation later on....no sending off vs Norwich

Our season has plumeted through one bad linesman decision....(I was in line with SWP from my seat)....I too KNOW it wasn't offside

    1 Warnocks panic buys
2 Not replacing an injured Kenny
    3 Playing Hall
4 signing Barton, Barton as captain, Barton taking set pieces.
5 Not sacking Warnock early enough
    6 Gorkss for Perone. Really?
    7 Faurlins injury
8 2 red cards costing us 6 points
9 playing 1 up front for so long
10 Warnock losing the dressing room, no doubt Barton was behind this
11 Not beating the poor teams, especially at home.

Thanks for the feedback lads & Beth

Whilst there are underlying structural problems ie change of owners, managers, squads I think it shows that confidence is a fragile thing and sometimes small decisions like the SWP disallowed goal, cisse sending off can bring a chain of negative events.

However we are Qpr and have never walked the easy path when a more arduous one is available.
In a way that's what I love about our calamitous club

I think we're getting too much mileage out of the angle that we would have 6 more points if Barton and Cisse hadn't been sent off. Yes we were looking good prior to those incidents; but there was a lot of football to be played afterwards and we simply weren't trying hard enough. Like every other team we have to suffer the slings and arrows and get on with it, and we haven't.
TBGWTDT is probably closest to the mark for me; we nuked an admittedly championship team and took away its soul. We brought in 'to die for' players with no concept of or interest in team cohesion and shoved them onto the pitch expecting them to play for the shirt and of course they haven't.
We now have a ragbag collection of disconnected self-interested loners and I really can't see where our next win is going to come from; I just hope it's going to happen this season.

In that case twins do you hold NW responsible for starting the break up of a winning squad?

I can see the arguement and agree axing gorkss was stupid IMO as was buying perone but can you really tell me honestly that a forward line of Dave bothroyd dj and hulse would have done the business?

Frankly I cant understand why we kept hall and chopped gorkss?

No, WBA, it was necessary to bring in new players to cope with the higher standard, just as Norwich and Swansea did, but they kept the core of their team who had worked together for a couple of seasons and the new players were slotted in to committed hard working units; our team seems to have been built around the first wave of signings and whatever team spirit and cameraderie that existed prior to that was jettisoned as a result of that.

They had much younger teams that could step up, virtually the whole of our team was over 30 and we had very few who could make that jump, Faurlin and Taarabt excepted.

Agreed flyer, Derry was always going to struggle with the step up to the prem.

I also think we got up pretty much through running a tight ship at the back and letting adel roam free which again is hard to replicate in the prem. Also my personal opinion but I thought the last half dozen games in the championship we were very poor and good teams were sussing us out.

    This.

With a confident team and invigorated SWP - we'd have been 8th and I would have fancied us to get some points from the rest of December instead of one draw and 4 losses. Then we twice had the makings of a breakaway from the relegation zones against Norwich and Wolves

We are 5 places above where I expected us to be on the first day of the season, prior to the takeover, so things are going pretty well from my perspective.

That's it. Everything else flowed from that (in)decision.
Missing making a big splash in the Summer transfer window, the squad that got assembled on the cheap and the type of player that came in on free.
