A great interview with him from a while back judging by the Priskin reference. https://watfordlegends.com/interviews/ross-jenkins/
Fans didn't think that when he started with us. It was versus Scunthorpe that he turned it round. We were 1-0 down at half time and won 5-1 with Ross scoring a hat-trick. He didn't look back after that.
An Everton fan talking about Doucoure - with a surprising mention for Deeney too. https://www.toffeeweb.com/season/20-21/news/40119.html
Without him we would not have had the last ten years success, last year all the players fell short All the pundits rate him as well
Pearson on his sacking. Guess we will never know what happened but he is right - the statement says it all.
Bristol City confirm Mapps' signing. Pleased to see he's got a new club without having to drop down any divisions
He should still be with us Unfortunately his Watford career appears to have died when he scored the own goal against Brighton, up until then he was one of our most dependable defenders
I think basically he was replaced as a home grown defender in the squad by Wilmot and the club wanted to keep him as a coach or squad player on less money. There must have been a falling out for the club to say nothing about Mariappa going.
Surely won't happen? https://www.teamtalk.com/news/exclu...anmaat-move-after-glowing-wijnaldum-reference They want less injuries. Not more!
Injuries aside - I think he's a handy player to have at EPL level. I assume we only agreed to release him because of the need to reduce the wage bill. Having said that, I'd be very surprised if Liverpool go ahead and sign him. Stranger things have happened though - like us signing Welbeck (fat load of good it did us though...).
