I do hope that he wasn't banking of a game or two for Leeds. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/28981764
He had a promising start but suffered an illness which knocked him back. According to wiki he was a sub goalie for one game!? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominic_Blizzard Good to see him still going and scoring at the Kennel. In yellow as well - bet that annoyed the Luton mob even more! They'll be calling for Still's head soon.
Seems as if things turned out all right for him. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-beds-bucks-herts-29129402
And it would seem that this ex-footballer won't be going to Zambia soon. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-29131487
Given that they had 12 clubs to choose from, I wonder why they went with the picture of him in Watford colours?
Sadly his driving behaviour is the sort that drives me mad: was an unusually bad offence of its kind with episodes of extremely aggressive driving and sudden changes of lane and speed on a busy road culminating with him stopping, blocking the path of a vehicle and causing the collisions which followed. "It was, in truth, deliberately dangerous driving, which may have resulted in far more serious injuries or worse." ...and I have told Mme Yorkie many times about it ... Seriously though... that is some of the worst driving on the road as you put everyone else at risk.
Assombalonga has scored twice in the first 20 minutes tonight against Fulham. Anyone think selling him was a massive mistake even given the money we have received for him?
Somewhat less surprising is that they have conceded 5. Final score Forest 5 (Assombalonga 3) Fulham 3 - surely curtains for Magath?
....and of course there are Craig Forsyth & John Eustace at Derby who have just won 3-2 at Ewood Park.
Personally, no. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.. and we got more for Britt overall than we did for Danny Graham. Would Britt have got the opportunity here, and therefore, would we have ever got any return? Was letting Joe Garner go for no fee a mistake! I know what most would answer for the last point, but we do seem to be hung up on Britt. I hope he does well, but don't forget two last night were penalties. I assume that behind the scenes our coaching staff did not feel there was enough there to merit us retaining him, and our judgement since is based on seeing his goals scored and nothing else, i.e. as with Joe Garner.
