It looks like Kenny Jackett has taken notes from what the snake and Gracia did last season - his club captain, Brett Pitman (the Jerseyman) has been on the bench a lot this season.
Ok not the most popular person at our club but still not nice to hear somebody suffering from cancer so nice to see he seems to have recovered. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46344674
Kenny Jackett looking good for another promotion from League One maybe ? Had 2 with Millwall and Wolves before plus one as assistant with us .
Gianluca Nani has, by mutual consent, left his role as Sporting Director at Reading with immediate effect. He joined them 3 months ago.
Not even a transfer window to work in! The manager and CEO have left too with some guy coming back who was there when Reading got promoted . Maybe the Royals will bring Steve Coppell in then !
Former Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores has been named head coach of Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua. Sanchez Flores, 53, led Watford to 12th place in the Premier League and an FA Cup semi-final in 2015/16. The Spaniard, who has coached the likes of Benfica, Valencia and Atletico Madrid, was sacked by Espanyol in April after nearly two years in charge.
Not good: An arrest warrant has been issued for Sheffield Wednesday's Fernando Forestieri after he failed to attend court. The 28-year-old striker was due to appear at Mansfield Magistrates' Court earlier. He has been charged with using threatening words and behaviour, and racially aggravated harassment on 24 July, the court said. However, Forestieri failed to attend and a warrant without bail was issued.
Another player from around the same era isn't having a great time it seems albeit on the pitch rather than anything serious like FF's situation. Noticed Vydra isn't getting a lot of playing time in a struggling Burnley side.. Not fitting the Dyche playing style? Shame as there is a Premier league quality player there I feel.
I sometimes think that these overpaid players lose the plot. Just how many times do we read of this one, or that one seeming to think that the law is an optional thing that they can obey or not as the mood chooses. Shame about FF, he gave us quite a lot of fun while he was with us, and seemed to be such a model for the kids to follow. I suppose we can only wait for the outcome, but failing to turn up makes one suspect the worse.
FF was very skilful but surely not a role model...he was inclined to fall over whenever his marker breathed out and while he was often fouled he was a dab hand at exaggerating his injuries.
I agree entirely. Watch the kids fall over in a school game and perform the dying duck show. I was thinking of his outside job of going to the schools and clubs where he was very popular around Watford.
Must be the silly season. Ighalo linked with Barcelona. https://www.balls.ie/football/todays-transfer-rumours-liverpool-manchester-united-404361
I can see why Vydra doesn't get a game - he is probably used in training as the striker to stick a boot in on.
