Jakubiak bags another brace yesterday, excellent for his development as he has not experienced the best of loan moves before.
http://sportwitness.co.uk/watford-loanee-not-best-level-described-notably-overweight/ Success is too fat for Malaga apparently. Lord knows what they'd make of Deeney...
I wouldn't - but there are plenty on other 'fan' sites who frequently do, and in rather vile terms. And anyway, if he's fat, I've no idea what that makes me...
Refs and wingers across the land will blow a sign of relief at this news. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43078497
Jakubiak scored again today - a 93rd minute winner in a 1-0 victory at Brechin. Hardly the heady heights, but it should boost his confidence no end...
Ross Jenkins is making his Hamilton debut against Rangers score is 2-3 to Rangers after 26 minutes!!!!
It feels like im watching a league 1 or 2 game and not a team about to go second in the Scottish Premier league, you can on this evidence see why Celtic are where they are.
Well, think about where they get their players from - even Rangers have players from Accrington Stanley, Swindon, MK Dons on show today. One of whom has just scored for his hat-trick...
Thats the whole point its not as good as what it is made out to be ie all the fuss about Celtics amazing run last season. Its a second rate league and I am really not trying to be rude just stating the facts. To much over the years has been stated that Rangers and Celtic would hold their own in the EPL which they may do only because of the money on offer, but then the same could then be said of about half of the English league teams if thats the case. I know the old firm have such wonderful loyal support and in numbers to but again think of the Sheffield teams, Bristol CIty, Leeds or Sunderland that does not guarantee you Premeirship rights. I think a league where by you have to play teams more than once home and away in a season is fundamentally flawed.
To be fair, it's only Celtic and Rangers fans who think above their station as far as I'm aware - the rest, although they would like to see them both go, are very realistic about the standard here. Pretty much the same as many other leagues around the world, it simply doesn't compare. But it can still be enjoyable - I'm sitting here enjoying the Challenge Cup semi-final between Inverness and Crusaders on BBC Alba, which is about all the Scottish football we get on free-to-air tv. The standard certainly doesn't compare, but it is good to watch, end-to-end and played at a fast pace. Even better, Inverness just won to give us an all Scottish final.
