I thought they were getting rid of their youth system? http://www.examiner.co.uk/sport/football/news/huddersfield-town-set-overhaul-academy-13629038
I wasn't aware of that - but the article does say 'overhaul'. I guess that, even with downgrading from category 2 to category 4, there would still be a need for someone to run it?
He was only there 3 months - I saw him make his debut in their 6-0 home defeat to Bristol Rovers in October.
Interesting and great career for Perryman Great to see a name giving great service to the lower leagues. Just a bit sad he is having to throw in the towel (especially as I'm almost his age - makes you think) but hopefully he will still enjoy his football. Tx for posting that OFH or I'd have missed it
I think I'm right in saying he went to school in Greenford or Northolt when I was teaching in that part of the world and later opened a sports goods shop there.
Wonder if he'll have "language barrier" problems there? Damn, his football was bad at the end of last season. Dire. Glad he kept us up just mind, wonder if Silva's season will turn out like QSF then WM, it's heading that way...
It was tongue in cheek (need an emoji for that one!), i just don't rate him as he is overly stubborn.
Well you never know - might not understand the youngsters speaking if they have slang like we do here!
Another goal for Tig D at Plymouth and nice to see 2 of our former young goalies help their teams to good FA Cup results. Bond at the Posh and Bonham keeping a clean sheet against Sheffield Wednesday
