Why would Dyche want to leave Burnley pushing for Europe for a relegation battle with Everton? I think he will move on soon but I fear for him that more pampered players won't respect him and his style of football won't please fans of a bigger club who like the tika taka stuff - even Jose M is getting stick off Man U fans for being too "negative"! Guess he could adapt with better players but its a result business and unlike at Burnley Dyche wouldn't be given much time to build a squad etc.

I see the shoe's on the other foot now - McKinlay walks away from Sunderland to join Moyes at Wet Spam...
A hat-trick of assists for his country last night. I wish we had someone who could do that... https://www.flashscores.co.uk/match/lQE8ArQA/#video
As it is Friday night I am watching some French football. Quite surprised to see a name from the Watford list of players Hameur Bouazza playing for Tours. He received a yellow card in the 23 minute.
I'd like to see him stay at Pompey, as it has a WFC-Jersey link as his captain, Brett Pitman is from this island.
https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...itt-assombalonga-boro-record-signing-football A good interview. I wonder if his parents would be allowed into the country these days?
Not an ex player but one of our out on loan players made a bit of a fool of himself. http://www.givemesport.com/1197517-...f-at-start-of-leganes-v-barcelona?autoplay=on
Ighalo back to the Premier league ? https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2017/11/22/ighalo-wanted-by-four-epl-clubs/
A bit further down, Ikpeazu scored the winner for Cambridge against Stevenage and Mensah scored the first for Aldershot in a 2-0 win against Wrexham.
I go cycling once a week round the leafy lanes of South Cheshire - with a U3A group. The group leader discovered the other day that I support WFC. Perhaps the beanie underneath my helmet gave him a clue. Anyway, having established that I watched them way back, he casually mentioned that his uncle was one SAMMY CHUNG ! Watford royalty no less. Now living in Somerset (Weston) physically superb, but suffering with dementia (topical, sadly). As he filled in details of Sammy's career, life etc he also said that Sammy was responsible for bringing PAT JENNINGS over from NI, and that he stayed with the Chung's at first (he was 17 I think). We bandy the word legend about a bit too freely maybe, but Sammy definitely was one. But also, maybe Pat Jennings, who only played for 1 season (48 games)with us (he was sold to spurs for £27500 to keep the club afloat) could be the player with the shortest career to acquire 'legend' status !
I spent most of the year that Pat Jennings was with us stood on the low and nearly empty Rookery stand with my to be wife. My preference was for the Vicarage terrace, but at 5'.1" my then girlfriend didn't see anything. Just the other day Pat was on TV, and the first thing my wife said was, "he has grown his hair to cover up those jug handle ears". I have just asked her if she remembered Sammy Chung, and she did. 1963, over 50 years, yet some players still live in your memory. So sad to read that Sammy is suffering from dementia. I wonder if that has something to do with heading a heavy ball?
I recognised Pat Jennings in the summer in a bar in La Manga Club, he was sat on the next table with a large group of his family. I was not 100% sure it was him until I saw him again on TV last week.
