FORMER Chelsea and Millwall goalkeeper Lenny Pidgeley has joined Leatherhead. The 31-year-old shot-stopper, who made two Premier League appearances for the Blues and also played for Watford, has played for a number of Football League clubs, including Carlisle United, Bradford City, Exeter City, Newport County and Mansfield Town. Pidgeley, who spent four years at Stamford Bridge, has now joined the Tanners and will provide cover for Louis Wells.
Port Vale have signed striker Theo Robinson until the end of the season, as well as bringing in winger Matthew Kennedy from Championship side Cardiff City on a month's loan. The much-travelled Robinson, 27, moves to the Potteries after leaving Scottish Premier League side Motherwell, where he spent the first half of the season.
I assume he won't be able to play if we're drawn against them. Edit: So much for upgraded, faster internet!

Cardiff have announced the departure of Gabriel Tamas after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.
Outstanding sportsmanship from Ben Foster tonight upon saving the deciding penalty in tonight's shootout. No histrionics or in yer face celebration but a consoling arm around the Posh player who missed. Top class. Well done that man.
In the Birmingham Sheffield Wed match last Saturday there were 7 players on the pitch who have played for Watford
A Sunderland statement read: "In light of Adam Johnson's guilty pleas, the club has today terminated his contract with immediate effect." Johnson’s guilty pleas mean he could face a maximum sentence of two and a half years in prison and potentially the end of his football career. But if found guilty of the more serious offences, which he denies, he could be jailed for a maximum of 14 years.
