Fully deserved to win as well. Hope the team themselves get credit rather than just the 5 famous owners.
Lee Sinnot is on Football focus. He manages Altrincham and his son is playing. Hopefully they can beat Barnsley!
In the 1st Round of the FA Cup we could have a match day squad of ex players... e.g. GK - Scott Loach (on bench for Notts County vs Salford) RB - Dale Bennett (Forest Green vs AFC Wimbledon LB -Matt Sadler (Shrewsbury vs Gainsborough) CB- Nyron Nosworthy (Dagenham & Redbridge vs Morecambe) CB- Todd Aldred (Blackpool vs Barnet) LM - Don Cowie (on bench for Wigan vs Bury) RM - Gavin Massey (on bench for Colchester vs Wealdstone) CM - Ross Jenkins (on bench for Crawley vs L*t*n) CM - John-Joe O'Toole (Northampton vs Coventry) ST - Marvin Sordell (Colchester vs Wealdstone) ST - Darius Henderson - (on bench for Scunthorpe vs Southend) Subs: GK - Jonathan North (Wealdstone vs Colchester) DF - David Mirfin (Scunthorpe vs Southend) MF - Piero Mingoia (Accrington vs York) MF - Chris Issac (Braintree vs Oxford) MF - Luke O'Nien (Wycombe vs Halifax) ST - Danny Webber (Salford vs Notts C) ST - Joel Grant (Exeter vs Didcot) Manager - Lee Sinnott (Altincham) (The line up of course is subject to your own views!)
Proves we do have a few youngsters still knocking around in the Football league. Not sure what went wrong with Loach... Mingoia and O'Nien could play higher if given a chance (and Ross Jenkins)
Remember Tamas "offiside" Priskin.. Well he has just scored this cracker for Hungary - to probably send them to Euro 2016.
Great goal.... I know he would come good Seriously though ... pleased for him..... and half talented player who didn't fit into the English game
I am sure lots will have seen this already, but Al Bangura talking about his story. Rather hard to listen to. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-34849619
