Sir Nigel appointed as interim first team coach at Spurs https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/...ord-and-portsmouth-man-to-save-season-4119809
Well done to Ben Willmott but no one was that fussed he went .. And it is Stoke who probably had an even more disappointing season than us .
Leeds are considering the future of head coach Javi Gracia after the club's fourth defeat in five matches. Gracia faces the prospect of becoming the 15th managerial departure of the Premier League season, with the Leeds board locked in talks over ending the Spaniard's brief tenure. He was appointed in February.
Their philosophy seems to be that we'll score one more than yooooo... Except that they don't. Gracia can only do so much....
On twitter fans are complaining that after their last home defeat a bunch of young fans were waiting for the players to sign their autograph books and programmes The players to a man just pushed them aside without a sideways glance Once a scumbag club always a scumbag club, for that alone they deserve to drop down the leagues like they did the last time they thought they were one of the big boys
Leeds United are set to sack manager Javi Gracia and are in talks to appoint former England boss Sam Allardyce. Director of football Victor Orta has left by mutual consent. Leeds are 17th in the Premier League, above the relegation zone only on goal difference, with four games left this season Gracia, appointed in February as Jesse Marsch's successor, has won only three of 11 league games in charge. Leeds have lost four of their past five matches and face leaders Manchester City on Saturday.
A sour ending for Hessy but remember him as a tireless and energetic midfielder. Always willing and never gave up. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...ham-legend-andy-hessenthalers-watford-career/
Leeds have officially confirmed the appointment of Sam Allardyce as manager for the remaining four games of the season as the club parted ways with Javi Gracia after just 12 games in charge
With Man C ,Newcastle and Spurs to come cannot see it making much difference tbh but never know . At least they will know Big Sam is there ! Allegation against Gracia was he didn’t really seem like the sort to motivate a squad as he was too nice and placid.
Well that certainly rings a bell!! I can't see Spurs being a problem for them - they have been atrocious recently.
Maybe sending Bayo back to Charleroi was a mistake? His stats there aren't exactly world beating, but they're better than they were here. https://the72.co.uk/2023/05/03/how-has-vakoun-bayo-fared-since-leaving-watford-on-loan-in-january/
I suspect he was criticised more here as he cost 5 million and a Bayat client . I am sure in reality he could have done a job for us .
