im not sure which away game it was probably one of the south sea side clubs but roy was running at full speed when a pass was hit just behind him so he hit it with his back leg to one of our unmarked players (his marker had gone over to cover if roy had beaten his defender . the sort of tricks that was rare back then.

I seem to recall that at the time of his departure from Watford there wasa lot of malicious rumour mongering about an alleged drink problem. I am not pointing a finger at any members of this board. I do not recall who was saying what , but just the the recollection I have. I hope that anyone who did partake in spreading the rumours will think again about doing it in the future.
